France-Germany : Franco-German co-operation for wind-turbine construction
On the 5th June, the German Minister of the Environment, Jrgen Trittin, and his French Industry colleague, Patrick Devedjian, expressed a wish to jointly develop wind farms on both land and sea, so as to share production costs. Such farms could be built in around ten years for a unit cost of 250 to 500 million euros.
